one year on...
We spent our first wedding anniversary in Australia, we headed there for a conference, but then took a few days off to get out and about. We spent our wedding anniversary at Cape Otway Lighthouse on the southern coast (part of the Great Ocean Road) it was a fabulous place to get away from it all. We managed to see some koala's just hanging around and to experience some of the rugged coastal weather.Here are a couple of photographs from the Cape Otway Lightstation, we stayed overnight in the Head Lightkeepers House (below left) - it was so quiet and dark! Cape Otway Lightstation is the oldest, surviving lighthouse in mainland Australia and is located right along the Great Ocean Road (there are some pretty pictures of that too! - see right).
